Campus Hostel

Hostel Facility is Available on First come first serve Basis. Hostel joining date for first year students is 13 sept 2025.

One of the key contributors to intensive and effective learning experience is the living conditions of the students. The institute provides hostel accommodation for girls. Girls' hostels hired by Engineering College Ajmer Society  ensure privacy and homely atmosphere. The  rooms are neat and clean, spacious, airy and well ventilated with sufficient number of toilets and bathrooms. The well balanced nutritious vegetarian food prepared in the kitchen is served in hygienic conditions. The hostels ensure congenial atmosphere for academic development of the students.

FORMALITIES TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE JOINING THE HOSTEL

Students opting for the hostel are required to fill and deposit following forms:

1. FORM A – Hostel form for accommodation in Hostel to be filled by parents along with list of visitors to the hostel, persons with whom students may go out, (with their photographs and telephone numbers), who would act as the local guardians.

2. FORM B- A Medical Certificate regarding medical history etc. signed by the Chief Medical Officer. Any pre existing allergy or deformities is to be reported at the time of taking the hostel.

3. FORM C-Undertaking by Parents/Guardian. Kindly note that only those persons will be allowed to become local guardians who are employed and live in a family environment. No student will be allowed to become a local guardian.

CODE OF CONDUCT

1. General Conduct
  1. Formation of student associations based on region, caste, or creed is strictly prohibited.
  2. No student shall hold any assembly or meeting in the hostel without prior written
    permission from the hostel warden.
  3. Courteous and respectful behaviour toward fellow residents and staff is expected at all times. Disputes if any, must be resolved amicably.
2. Prohibited Items and Activities
  1. Possession of firearms, lethal weapons, poisonous substances, or intoxicants (including alcohol, drugs, tobacco, cigarettes, energy drinks, or related products) is strictly prohibited.
  2. Entry into the hostel in an intoxicated state is a serious offence and will result in strict disciplinary action, including expulsion/rustication.
  3. Obscene literature, video content, or any similar material must not be possessed or screened within hostel premises.
  4. Ragging in any form is strictly banned. Any student found guilty will face immediate expulsion and legal action under the Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1997 and AICTE guidelines.
3. Personal Responsibilities
  1. Students must not:
    • Engage in private practice or jobs while staying in the hostel.
    • Keep mopeds, motorcycles, scooters, or cars in the hostel premises without prior administrative approval.
    • Keep private servants or pets in the hostel.
  2. Rooms must be locked properly when not occupied.
  3. Each roommate must retain a key for their room in shared accommodations.
  4. Buying or selling of products in hostel is strictly prohibited.
4. Cleanliness and Maintenance
  1. Toilets and bathrooms must be kept clean. If not maintained, a collective fine will be imposed on the respective floor or wing.
  2. Hostel property, furniture, and electrical fittings must be maintained in good condition.
  3. Students must formally take charge of hostel property when moving in and hand it back when vacating.
5. Attendance and Movement
  1. Students are not allowed to stay in the hostel during class hours, except for illness or valid reasons, with due permission from the warden.
  2. Any student staying away from the hostel without prior intimation or permission, and with no response from parents/guardians, may have her hostel admission cancelled, and her belongings will be removed by hostel authorities.
  3. Students must be present in their respective room during day and night attendance.
  4. If due to a college activity a student remains in college after classes, the student must get their attendance marked in the day attendance register of the hostel before returning to college for other activities; prior approval from the concerned coordinator is required.
  5. If students return to college campus after day attendance they must make all entries in the hostel register and must return to the hostel within the hostel closing time.
6. Assembly and Notices
  1. No student can take assembly in hostel without written permission of Chief Warden.
  2. No notices may be displayed on hostel/institute notice boards without the countersignature of the Hostel Warden / Chief Warden.
  3. Students must make an entry in the "In/Out Register" kept at the Hostel. A student must enter all the columns in the register regarding participation in curricular activities and extracurricular beyond the working hours of the Institute.
7. Disciplinary System
  1. A Black Dot Chart will be maintained. Each act of indiscipline may result in a black dot.
  2. Accumulation of four black dots will result in immediate expulsion from the hostel and ineligibility for future hostel allotment.
  3. Penalties for rule violations will be determined by hostel authorities based on severity. Fines may be deducted from the hostel security deposit.
  4. If hostel authorities call the parents regarding misbehaviour / indisciplinary act, parents must report to the hostel authorities immediately.
8. Emergencies and Legal Compliance
  1. In case a student attempts or abets suicide or any illegal act, she will bear full legal responsibility. Hostel/institute authorities or employees will not be held liable.
  2. Parents must report immediately to hostel authorities when called for serious misconduct.

HOSTEL MESS

1. Hostel mess is compulsory and under no circumstances, private preparation of food in their respective rooms shall be permitted. Nobody is allowed to take the Mess food inside the Room.

2. Students are not allowed to take any crockery, cutlery or any other things from dining hall.

3. All meal must be taken in dining hall at the proper timing. Meal timings are as follows: (Subject to change according to season/college timings/examinations) . Breakfast: 7:30am to 9:00am Lunch: as per time tableTea: 4:30pm to 5:00pm Dinner: 7:00pm to 8:30pm
