We believe that a clean, green and a pollution free environment offer a perfect backdrop for an effective learning experience. We have therefore left no stone unturned in the development of a green ecosystem in the campus to provide enrichment to the mind, heart and soul of our young technocrats.

Mahila Engineering College is conscious and continuously committed to the environmental issues with regard to protection, conservation and sustenance of natural resources. College has an eco-friendly campus which is favoured by the topography, adequate rainfall and climatic conditions resulting in rich biodiversity in the campus with its natural flora and fauna.� All the roads within the�College campus�are therefore adorned with trees of medicinal importance bearing emerald green leaves and beautiful flowers to create a homogenous feeling amongst everyone within the campus. Renewable energy resources such as Solar panels, that are placed on the rooftops of various campus buildings, build up a storehouse of energy during the daytime. This energy is used to provide the light and hot water in the hostel.

The institute was awarded with District Green Champion for Ajmer district for the academic year 2020-21 by the Mahatma Gandhi national council of rural education.

In a move to spread environmental awareness ECO CLUB has been constituted at Mahila Engineering college, Ajmer to empower the stake holders to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. The club aims at propagating the importance of keeping the environment clean and working towards environmental conservation and sustainable development. It is a forum through which students can reach out to influence and engage the stake holders of the college to promote environmental and climate literacy and sensitize them to imbibe habits and life style for minimum waste generation and maintaining green campus as culture.

10. A story telling through play competition was organized by the eco club of our college on 7/4/2022. The theme of the competition was �Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the rain 2022-where it falls,when it falls�,as per the campaign implemented by the Jal Shakti Ministry, Government of India.The aim of this Abhiyan is to create awareness and bring together all stakeholders in a mass movement to conserve, recharge water and promote rainwater harvesting, renovation of traditional and other water bodies/tanks and watershed development.

Foreigners often remark India is a land of temples, shrines and scared places. With the history of India are interwined many stories are religious, legendary and social. Right from Kashmir to Kerala, we come across many temples of gods and goddesses. Our renowned college also have a temple in its vibrant campus named,'Eklinga Mahadev Temple'. Inside the temple there are statues of entire Ram darbar, Lord krishna and Balaji and portrait of goddess Durga. The temple also has Shivalinga right in the center. Sri Lingashtakam is a popular 8-canto hymn chanted during the worship of lord Shiva. Durga puja is also celebrated in the temple. As per Hindu scriptures, the festival marks the victory of the goddess Durga in her battle against the shape shifting asura, Mahishasura. Durga puja is an old tradition of Hinduism, though its exact origions are unclear. The Ram Darbar is a representation of Lord Rama's court. Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and the monkey king Sugriva are represented here. Each of these gods has a unique and powerful symbol that can be placed in any room of the house to help protect the home from harm and negativity. Pujas are performed. This sacred place hums with activity during the festivals. The entire temple is lit-up with electric bulbs and lights on the day of Deepawali. The temple also has green lush grass around it that enhances it's beauty. Mud pots filled with water are kept for birds. The chirping of birds makes the place more adorable. When it is decorated with glittering lights and adorned by the flowers and other decorative things, we derive great mental satisfaction and solace.
