The department offers a four year undergraduate course in Electrical & Electronics Engineering leading to the award of Bachelor of Technology from Rajasthan Technical University. The program imparts an out standing education opportunity for those , planning to pursue a career or to gain in depth knowledge in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Vision
- To strive continuously for excellence in the field of Electrical Engineering producing valuable human resource for sustainable development of industry and society.
Mission Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- To impart fundamental knowledge of Electrical, Electronics and Computational Technology.
- Develop the foundation to undertake research in the system involving emerging fields of Electrical Engineering.
- To create an ambience of academic excellence which aims to flourish innovative ideas and Research.
- To instill professional skills and competence in the students so as to enable them to become experts in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Program Specific Outcome (PSOs):-
- PSO1: Applying Software tools for analysis of different problems in the field of Electrical Engineering.
- PSO2: Able to provide socially acceptable technical solutions to complex Electrical Engineering problems.
Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
- PEO1: To apply knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Engineering for solving various multidisciplinary problems.
- PEO2: To promote research in emerging areas of power systems, power electronics and electrical drives through projects and dissertation based on industrial application and environmental aspects.
- PEO3: To demonstrate leadership with moral and ethical values, team Spirit and Managerial skill.
Program Outcomes (POs)
- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
- Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
- The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
- Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
- Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
- Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
- Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.
- Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

HOD Message
I feel immense pleasure to welcome you all to the department of Electrical
Engineering at Mahila Engineering College, Ajmer. There are two B.tech
programs, one M.tech and one PhD program is running under the umbrella of
electrical engineering department. The Electrical Engineering Department is a
dynamic department that provides brilliant career opportunities in various domains
of technology. The Department has well-qualified and dedicated faculty as per the
norms of AICTE/NBA to cater the needs of students. Various well equipped
laboratory and research lab is present in the department. The department has its
own departmental library with good quality books on relevant area. The
department faculties are committed to bequeath our students, the fundamental
concepts and the latest trends via smart teaching-learning process. The students are
also endowed with critical thinking and problem-solving skills so that they may
face their future with confidence. We believe in shaping our students in a way that
they are well accepted in suitable job profiles and are able to match the pace of
fast-growing globalization. Regular interactions of current students with our
alumni are arranged. The students are also inspired to participate in the technical
activities apart from the regular curriculum so that they may become industry
ready in later years of academia.
