About Electronics and Communication Engineering
Across the World, Electronics is the fastest growing field and form the economic core of many nations like Japan, Korea, and Taiwan etc. Electronics system are being widely used today in Almost every walk of life, be it consumer electronics, telecommunication, automobile, industrial process control, testing and measurement, medicine, defense, computer etc.The department is positively working in the direction to produce confident, competent and multidimensional skilled engineering professionals. Keeping in pace with the phenomenal growth of electronics, the department aims at imparting an amalgamation of theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in basic electronics principles and semi-conductor technology. The Department of ECE is one of the foremost and best in terms of the expertise and facilities available for engineering students. The department has very sound infrastructure sprawled in the green environment. It provides good opportunities on a variety of topics in conventional and other related interdisciplinary areas of ECE. As a part of it's academic activities, Department is planning to organize seminars, symposia, summer schools, winter workshops, etc. It also undertakes industrial consultancy projects and has ongoing collaborative research projects in frontier areas with institutions in India and Abroad.

To impart technical education in the field of Electronics Engineering to deserving young women of the country at undergraduate level such that they are prepared to face the challenges, to develop leadership qualities, to think about design & developments according to the situations posed by the fast growing globalization.
Mission of Electronics and Communication Engineering
  1. Electronics & Communication Engineering Department was founded with a threefold mission in teaching, research, and public service. Based on that foundation, the mission of the Department, in all major fields of Electronics & Communication engineering, is to instill in students the attitudes, values, vision, and training that will prepare them for lifetimes of continued learning and leadership, to develop the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, and effectively for the benefit of society; to generate new knowledge for the betterment of humankind and disseminate it universally; and to generate realistic and innovative solutions for the current and future technological needs and to play a leading role to form the van of social and scientific progress and to provide special services when there are needs that the department is uniquely qualified to meet.
  2. Our graduates will develop abilities in the application of the necessary mathematical tools, scientific basics, and fundamental knowledge of the profession
  3. Our graduates will develop professional skills that prepare them for employment by the most advanced public and/or private R&D organizations in India and abroad.
  4. Our graduates will be provided sufficient breadth and depth for successful subsequent graduate study, post-graduate study or life-long learning.
  5. Our graduates will be provided with an educational foundation that prepares them for leadership roles in the profession.

Department Facilities

Department has organized many workshop and expert lectures time to time to improve the technical skills of students. Being a part of TEQIP-II project the department has framed the Training Need Analysis for the staff so that faculty members and staff may get training in their areas of interest. The department has also planned to start weak students classes under TEQIP-II scheme. Assistantship for the Non GATE students in PG is also a part of TEQIP-II activities.
